snow problem

I'm loving the rally mode so far. Snow is very challenging...

two wheel motion

same moment, two shots:

this is one of my favorite cars of all time, I was really excited to drive this beast. Gazing up through the tinted bubble of a windscreen is fantastic too.

had to buy the obligatory AE86...but this one is the Shuichi Shigeno AE86 which is lighter and has a few performance addons and of course, the iconic panda paint scheme.

This car (well, the real one) has a lot to do with the popularity of the AE86 worldwide--one of the most influential hachiroku of all time.

ever seen a hachi get down? This is my breakdancing Trueno.

I just had to do the Trial Mountain jump. I love how the jumping, crashing, and rollover physics are pretty much the same as GT1 and 2 when I used to jump over that hill!

they can't all be zingers

We open today on the Nurburgring.

I won't let Premium versus Standard get to me. I won't let Premium versus Standard get to me. I won't let Premium versus Standard get to me.

three wheelin' the Miura

GT5's take on cross processing

that's me, I chose the green suit with gold accents. Green for the money, gold for the honeys, that's what I always say.

JDM esses @ Suzuka

purposely underexposed these for the mood, I hope they look alright

that was Toscana Tarmac, here's Toscana Rally

kei cars!

you can not only see the weight transfer, you can feel it too. Probably one of the best aspects of the physics in this game, if I'm honest.

the excitement of a new game!

Gran Turismo. A game that purports itself to be a driving simulator. A game which makes Forza fanboys moan because you can't design your own livery, and now in GT5, you can't even change the wheels on 4/5 the cars. Yet...there is a fucking fantastic photo mode. I spent hours on this simple yet addictive mode on GT4, and judging from my experience so far, I foresee much more of the same.

Anyway, so check out the new PS2 game I got!

yeah, I said PS2. Graphically, the 800 standard cars are little more than glorified PS2 models. Here's some bokeh to make it look a little more like photography.

The physics in GT5 are not exactly sim, but they are extremely fun. There's a lot of controllable, tail out fun to be had.

Premium cars, on the other hand, look fantastic.

Even in real life I'm not much of a fan of the R35 V-spec's wheels, so I had to swap them out for a nice set of BBS...
